Put the flags out

Don't you just love flags on cards, I have been playing with my silhouette and made this card, sorry the photo wasn't the best.

The flag cutting file is linked on here - you do need to join the forum I think to access the files, but it is free to join, and it would be lovely to see you there.  I did the bike using a font - how fantastic is that, I can look out the name of the font if anyone is interested.

I also have a flag stamp and made this quick card the other day, somehow the flags seem summery - we just need some weather to match:

A bit of red

Last month we had a challenge on the forum for cards with red, I managed a couple as I have been on a bit of a roll!

The bike was sent by melis from the forum and the bus was part of a set from Papermania Urban stamps I think - was pleasantly surprised with the stamps - they are rubber cling ones, also includes a VW camper van that I will show later.

Pretty pink Weigela at the front

I have been busy selling plants that my son raised from cuttings last year, and also from seedlings/plug plants that he did at Easter.  I have taken some to Hexton - Country Matters and have been taking them to Ampthill Country Market stall on Thursdays.

There are a lot of hardy perennials, ones that come up every year, penstemons and phlox to name a few. Some hardy shrubs such as - hebes and weigela.  At the moment the most expensive plant is £3, and many are £2 or £2.50, and some of the smaller ones are only £1.  There are some herbs too.

Afternoon Tea

I like the idea of afternoon tea at the moment and have made some cards recently using some stamps I bought from the Range, not a place I had been to before, but we have had one open in Bedford just before Christmas.

Interestingly we have a Hobbycraft opening this weekend too - so with Stamp Addicts the place will be overrun with crafts!

Post on the Country Market blog

Where I am featuring my own things on the blog I will add CAW to the post label so that you can pop by and see what I have been making on there.

My things

I have added some cards on there and my knitting, the plants are from 4 of us, but a lot of them are from me - well Owen is doing them, I am sales and marketing, and chief waterer now that he is away.

I am putting all of my days out on there also as they are all within easy driving distance from Ampthill, so might be worth taking a look if you are local.

Just been browsing through

I have started a blog for the Ampthill country Markets and thought I would look through here for some ideas. I didn't realise I had posted so much, and have got lost flicking through the pages and pictures that I have posted. Kind of regretting that I didn't continue as it is a lovely record of a few years. I realised a lot of the older images didn't work as I moved the gallery years ago, I have fixed quite a few - still more to do been back to 2008!
