December 5th

As today is a 'real' work day - I am afraid I have nothing to report, well unless you want to hear about month end and the fact that I am now apparently in charge of the bank tender!

I did spot this link on my Google home page today which I found a little odd....bottle cap earrings under the 'how to' of the day...another use for bottle caps eh?

I also did a quick card, as I had remembered a little rubber stamp I had ages ago that I had never known what to do with it...but have yet to scan it! This is Dad's card - it is a big stamp and I have had it for years - I really can't remember what I used to do with it...but this was the best I could do this time...

Question 5 for the 5th December.....
All the answers are somewhere on the site including the gallery and the forum, and these are the only accepted right answers.

"How many minutes is it from midday today (5th) until 11.59pm Christmas Eve?"

Once you have found the answer go to the advent calendar to submit your answer....it can only be entered on the 5th December (I am having an early night so it is posted a bit early!)

Lol Carolyn - looked at the bottle top ones then discovered Sim card ones (like the warnings!) and then a fish hook necklace - might be a bit uncomfortable to wear - I should think so - one for a not so good friend this christmas!!! Gave me a laugh first thing anyway.

ANyway nice to have a blog to read every day guaranteed - lol!

I love the stamp you used for your Dad's card.....is it watercolours you used to colour it ?

I did use watercolours - something that I have very little experience. DH has all sorts of tubes and pencils that he got years ago as he wanted to have a go...so I got them out and this was my first attempt on a big pic, I did a few simple ones a while back.
