Another Bank Holiday

Isn't it great this time of the year with all these lovely days off! We all did some work in the garden today, firstly by painting the back fence....we used the spray thingy as in the advert - but I did not get a fit of the giggles whilst doing it! Nevertheless it looks much better and now matches all the other fences.

I made a card for Diane - one of the team - she is retiring at the end of the month so thought that this was ideal. It fits with the rubber stamped challenge too.

Well as some of you may know I ordered some compost bins a few weeks ago and they arrived this week - I have no idea if it will be successful - but thought I should make the effort and be environmentally friendly. So I had to prise them away from Owen as he keeps getting inside and pretending to be a Dalek.....and we have now sited them in the garden. I also got a special little caddy to put the peelings etc in, and so we have been busy filling that up now.
I will return to the garden on Monday and do some weeding and should start filling the first one up soon. Although with the size of our lawn I guess we can put all the clippings in, will have to see.

I have just added a couple of photos of the newly painted fence and the vegetable patch as we have been talking veggies on the forum

And have made a few cards today - this was one of them!
